Children’s Playground and YETILAND at the Woodpark Chalets
During a stay at a chalet in nature, you might wonder how to spend the day with the little ones while planning activities to keep them entertained. After all, it’s said: a happy child means a happy parent. At our chalets, children are guaranteed never to be bored—no matter the season.
Snowland is not just a ski resort with winter sports activities—it’s also a destination offering a variety of year-round family-friendly services. It’s less than a 5-minute walk from the Woodpark.sk chalets.
For the little ones, the resort features a large playground with a pirate ship that includes various climbing structures, a mini climbing wall, slides, lookout points over the resort, and other play areas. Nearby, you’ll find different types of swings, a bungee trampoline, an inflatable trampoline, a slide-and-jump castle, traditional trampolines, and mini carousels.
All these attractions are free and open all day. You’re guaranteed to tire out the kids here!
The resort features the newly built YETILAND children’s playground. This “kids’ park” offers plenty of fun for children, who can easily spend an entire day here. YETILAND includes inflatable castles, trampolines, and an exciting slide course.
Entrance is paid, and full information is available on the Snowland website. YETILAND is open Monday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (the playground may be closed in bad weather).
Snowland also offers a rental service for bicycles, off-road scooters, and rollerblades. You can enjoy paintball, located at the edge of the resort in the forest, as well as table tennis, billiards, and use the multifunctional sports courts for tennis (currently under renovation), mini football, and volleyball.
Occasionally, the resort also offers an adrenaline-packed activity called Zorbing, where you roll down a grassy hill inside a large inflatable plastic ball.
Throughout the resort area, you’ll find various wooden figures and animals that are sure to capture the children’s interest.
Nearby, there is an artificially created lake, which people use for boating in the summer. Swimming in the lake is not prohibited.

The Lavender Grove in Snowland Valčianska dolina is a unique spot where the beauty of nature meets the relaxing effects of lavender. If you’re staying in our chalets, you have a special opportunity to enjoy all the benefits that the lavender fields offer.
You can sit on a bench in the middle of the fields and let the sweet scent of lavender—known for its therapeutic effects—soothe your stress and tension. Don’t forget to bring your camera! The lavender fields provide amazing opportunities to capture beautiful moments.
At the Impozant, also located within the Snowland resort, you can enjoy relaxing moments in the hotel’s wellness center. Inside, you’ll find an indoor pool with a counter-current system and a whirlpool, as well as outdoor pools.
Sauna enthusiasts can rejuvenate body and soul in five types of saunas: Finnish, infrared, combined bio-sauna, steam sauna, and the unique salt peeling sauna. The sauna area also features a relaxation room with views of the surrounding nature, a solarium (sun meadow), a cooling pool, the “bucket of courage,” and other attractions.
