A holiday in Slovakia has several advantages. In addition to beautiful nature and interesting places, one of the benefits is that you stay “at home,” meaning you do not have to travel far, and finding a suitable place to stay is relatively simple and quick. Since January 1, 2019, thanks to holiday vouchers that you can also use at Woodpark, vacations in Slovakia have become even more accessible.
In short, you are entitled to a holiday voucher if you work as an employee (not on a temporary contract) in a company with at least 50 employees for more than 24 months. Smaller companies may provide this contribution voluntarily. The amount of the contribution is 55% of the total cost, up to a maximum of €275 per year. The contribution can also be used for multiple stays of lower value.
The holiday voucher can be used for tourism services connected with accommodation for at least two nights within the territory of the Slovak Republic.
To sum it up, if you meet the above conditions (you are employed in a company with more than 50 employees for more than two years) and you book a stay with us for more than two nights, you can submit the invoice to your employer, who will reimburse 55% of the costs (up to €275 per year) in your next salary.
For example:
- The price for a 3-day stay (2 nights) at Woodpark.sk is €600.
- When booking your stay, an invoice will be issued in your name, which you will pay from your own funds.
- The stay can also be enjoyed by people living with you in the same household.
- No later than within 30 days after the end of your stay, you submit the invoice to your employer, who is obliged to reimburse you for the recreation allowance in the amount of 55%, i.e. €275, which is exactly the maximum annual contribution.
