Chalet Olejkárka owes its name to the rich history of oil-making in the village of Valča. Traveling merchants – oil-makers from the Turiec region – journeyed across almost the whole of Europe with their healing oils. Juniper, fir, and caraway oils, as well as turpentine made from pine resin, were highly popular worldwide, and the fame of the Turiec oil-makers continued to grow.
Chalet Olejkárka will show you the power of healing peace and the strength of Valča’s herbs.

The chalet offers comfortable accommodation for families with children as well as groups of friends, for up to 10 people. Its dominant feature is a glass wall with a breathtaking view of Malá Fatra and the ski resort. You can enjoy this view from the spacious living room by the fireplace or from the sofa in the gallery.

The living room is connected to the dining area and an open-plan kitchen with a bar counter and a wine cellar. On the ground floor, there is also a toilet and a bathroom with a shower. A utility room with space for ski storage and drying ski boots is available as well. In the utility room, you can also use the washing machine along with laundry detergents.

The kitchen is equipped with an induction cooktop, electric oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, and all necessary kitchen utensils.

The upper floor is accessed through the gallery. There are three separate bedrooms: one double room, one triple room, and one five-bed room. If needed, we can prepare two baby cots upon request. There is also an additional toilet and a bathroom with a shower.

The chalet is heated with underfloor heating set to 22°C. A fireplace with firewood is also available, which you can use to create an even more pleasant atmosphere.

Access to the chalet is easy, and there is parking for up to 4 cars. For your safety, the parking area is monitored by a camera system.

The chalet features a large garden where you and your children can spend time. The garden includes a spacious gazebo with a fireplace and seating, as well as a Finnish sauna for 4 people. On the terrace, there is a modern jacuzzi for 6 people. A 25-liter kettle for cooking traditional goulash and a charcoal grill are also available (charcoal must be provided by guests). The garden area can also be used for campfires. During your stay, you can use a children’s inflatable pool.

Pets are welcome only upon prior agreement. The fee for staying with a dog is €50 per stay.
