Cycling Route Around Turiec 100 km

Woodpark Valčianska dolina – Kláštor pod Znievom (10 km)

The cycling route starts at the Woodpark chalets in Valčianska dolina. From the chalets, the trail passes through forests to the village of Kláštor pod Znievom. This section is moderately challenging, with a few climbs. You can stop along the way at the Megabike or the Gardeon Megabench.

Kláštor pod Znievom – Slovenské Pravno (10 km)

From Kláštor pod Znievom, continue toward Slovenské Pravno. The route passes through several small villages along the way.

Slovenské Pravno – Turčianske Teplice (12 km)

From Slovenské Pravno, the route heads south to the spa town of Turčianske Teplice. This section of the route is relatively flat.

Turčianske Teplice – Blatnica (9 km)

From Turčianske Teplice, continue east through the villages of Diviaky and Mošovce to Blatnica. This section of the route passes around Gaderská Valley, a popular spot for short walks and hikes. You can also stop at Blatnica Castle along the way.

Blatnica – Sklabinský Podzámok (18 km)

From Blatnica, the route continues to Sklabinský Podzámok, where you can explore the ruins of Sklabinský Castle. This section is moderately challenging but offers beautiful views and historic landmarks, including several lookout points.

Sklabinský Podzámok – Sučany (8 km)

From Sklabinský Podzámok, continue north toward Sučany.

Sučany – Vrútky (11 km)

From Sučany, the route continues a short distance to Vrútky, where you can rest and refresh yourself. Vrútky is known for its rich railway history.

Vrútky – Bystrička (12 km)

From Vrútky, continue through the town of Martin to Bystrička, which is known for its beautiful views of the Malá Fatra mountains. This section of the route features the steepest climbs.

Bystrička – Valča (10 km)

From Bystrička, return to Valča, where the cycling route ends. Along the way, you will pass two lookout towers.
